DAWALAND is about Eustache – a 28 year-old bachelor – and his struggle to become the true badass he’s always dreamed of being.

DAWALAND is a 30 x 2’30 web series drawn in accelerated real time. A constantly flowing and ever-evolving comic book. It’s built upon two major components: super fast sketching and the main character’s frenetic inner voice. This absurdist series plays on the difference between reality and Eustache’s deformed perception of it. It’s is an adventure that unfolds through a sense of accumulation, build-up, overflow, kinetic energy and verbal hysteria.

Eustache is the badass within each of us, our merciless evil twin who can totally say NO, who doesn’t give a SHIT about what others think, CARES EVEN LESS what people say and RELISHES the hell out of life!

DAWALAND is told from Eustache’s point of view, allowing viewers to recognize themselves in his struggle as much as possible.
